Attorney Adam Huffman and fellow members of the Jarvis Law team spearheaded the effort that is near and dear to their hearts. “We know times are tough for many people today, but it’s tougher during the holidays,” he says. “We organized this food drive to help the residents in our local communities enjoy a Happy Thanksgiving with their loved ones, with full tummies, and know that we care about them. In Ohio, 1 in 9 people face hunger, and 1 in 6 children. Part of our mission statement as a firm is to make a meaningful difference in our communities. There is no more meaningful difference than helping someone know where their next meal is coming from. That is why we have partnered with the Dublin Food Pantry, The Foundation Dinners, and the St. Clairsville Food Pantry for everything they do throughout the year.”

It is our small contribution to our communities and to give families in need a happier holiday.

“It’s an honor to take part in this vital effort to help our neighbors,” says Tim Jarvis, Asset Protection, Elder Law, and Medicaid Planning Attorney and Founder of Jarvis Law Office, P.C. “Thanksgiving is a time to reflect upon our blessings. We’re thankful for the many clients who have entrusted us with their Medicaid, elder law, and asset protection needs. Through the Season of Giving, we invite our neighbors in Lancaster, Dublin, and St. Clairsville to join us in demonstrating our support to Ohio residents in need this Thanksgiving.”

About Dublin Food Pantry

For 46 years, the Dublin Food Pantry has been providing food, hygiene products, and resources to individuals and families within our community who are experiencing food insecurity. Through the years, support has come from schools, faith communities, businesses, groups, clubs, troops, teams, neighborhoods, and the City of Dublin, but there are three groups who have been – and will remain – essential to helping us fulfill our mission.

The Dublin Food Pantry is dedicated to connecting people with nutritious food, essentials, and resources while educating the community about hunger’s impact and collaborating with others who address basic human needs.

It is a 501(c)(3) organization under the leadership of two paid staff members, Dinky and Jim, as well as a volunteer Board of Trustees. The day-to-day pantry operations are staffed by hundreds of volunteers who make what we do possible.
